We are pleased to share that the Principal of Ananda College, Colombo, together with the Buddhist Association of Ananda College, has reached out to the Ananda Professionals Forum UK with a request to support a meaningful charity project.

The initiative focuses on providing study materials for underprivileged school children at Sri Subodha School in Dehiattakandiya, ensuring that every child has the tools they need to pursue their education with confidence. We successfully engaged in a similar project where we provided similar equipment to the underprivileged schoolchildren at the remote school of Manampitiya Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya in Polonnaruwa.

As Anandians, we have always stood for the values of compassion, generosity, and service to others. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community here in the UK to come together and make a lasting difference in the lives of young students in Sri Lanka.
